Face book introduces new feature – Creating Groups.

Recently social networking giant Face book has introduced new feature into the market. Like everybody using facebook have came across after logging in into your facebook accounts that one pop up appears indicating now you can create groups in facebook inviting your friends with this also you need not have to login into your orkut account , now you can simply import all of your orkut friends into facebook sending invitations to them. Now a days the number of orkut users have gradually decreased with the introduction of facebook. People these days like facebook application than orkut.

Most of them pass their time by simply playing games on facebook , one of them is Farmville which is the most ever played online game by the people on any of the social networking site. Facebook has also become one of the most trafficked website over the internet. Recently facebook has opened one of their branch in India, becomes the first asian facebook office to be established. Thus increasing their business gradually worldwide. Facebook has many more to achieve in the coming years giving competition to internet giant Google. We hope this battle continues.

Google has recently updated its Page Rank value.

Almost more number of people in the world would dream to get a good page rank value for their websites from Google. Google page rank decides the importance of particular website on the web , like for example it contains good unique content , very useful for the users in internet. Page Rank of Google ranges from 1 to 10 , “greater the page rank value, the better your site is “. It plays a vital role in websites online reputation and trust in users over the internet having huge daily visitors accessing the website.

Recently Google has made changes in the algorithms that decides the page rank value of particular website on web. Google updates its page rank feature in every 3 – 4 months. So every website owners , bloggers , make sure they are aware of this fact and make changes in their strategies to gain new Google PR. Everybody can check Google PR value present in the Google toolbar of their browser.

As we all know that the population of India is how much large and now a days more and more people are accessing the social networking sites every day. This figure is expected to touch 1 billion mark by 2015. Each and every people in India own a mobile phone for themselves which easily has an internet access and communicate with their friends, relatives and other people etc,.  Recently 3G service has been launched in India which has not been used by the common man yet it’s the future service ruling in India. The 3G service is launched by BSNL in all the northern and southern parts of India while it is made available through MTNL in Delhi , Mumbai and remaining parts of India.

It is believed that people falling between the age group of 17 – 28 are accessing the social networking  sites in huge numbers in India. It is found from the recent survey done in Sept 2010 that around 10 million users from India have accessed the sites Orkut and Facebook for chatting with their friends , playing online games etc,. This change is very obvious as all the recent handset manufacturing companies are preparing the social networking phones which ultimately has also increased their sales. Also more than 56 percent accounts found in social networking sites belongs to males. More than 70 percent of the users accessing social networking sites and young and professional peoples.

Google introduces a new feature – Google Instant.

As everybody in this world knows that how popular google is, also about the quality of search it provides for the users from the past decade or so. Google is always trying to make user’s search more and more easy, as a part of it recently it has launched a new feature called Google Instant. It is a feature which helps user provide relevant search queries as  word by word gets typed by the user in the google search query.

This google instant provides the user automatically a relevant text suggestion simultaneously in a little bit light white color. It predicts the combination of  phrases when a query is passed to it by the user. Rather with the inclusion of this new feature It would not affect the current search pages , the ads , and the placement of search queries will remain unchanged. While searching for a particular query if a user stops in between the search results get automatically reflected on the screen.

The introduction of Google Instant can increase the ad impressions and their ad clicks of those who are successfully using adsense , it also saves 5 – 10 seconds of user’s each search query. We have to wait and see for few months how google instant is accepted by people all over the world also hoping that it tries to introduce more and more features like this.

Google buys Angstro , a new social media company.

We all know that how fast the Social Media Market has improved from the last year, so keeping this in mind google has buyed a new social media company named Angstro. Google is also eying to grab the social media field, recently it launced the Google Buzz facility through G-mail but it had not made any impact in people , rather failing to provide privacy of users information.

Angstro is said to be a platform which will be containing all the professional networks, and hot online topics that the people will be searching for in the individual basis. Google is also ready to give people new social games facility with angstro relevant to virtual experience of video games. Google has lot of expectations with Angstro, one of the co-founders name of Angstro is Mr. Rohit Khare. Google is planning to master the social media field also and will invest more and more into this to beat the existing social media sites like Facebook , Twitter etc.,

You Tube plans to launch pay-per-view movies facility till the end of this year.

YouTube sources has recently announced that it is going to provide the pay-per-view videos facility to people in youtube till the end of this year with the support of Hollywood studios. Recently in the month of April, it started testing this service with 400 classic and commercial films. These service will be available around $5 mark and the quality of the movie will be same as it appears to be in DVD.

At first this service will be globally revealed  through Google TV to the world , later it will combine with local Cable TV and other medias who will be demanding for this services. Although Google and YouTube have already more popular than any other Satellite TV or Cable Service, the question is how many more people will  like this service.

So lets hope this service from YouTube will be successful.

Facebook decides to put an end on IE6 support.

As we all know Internet Explorer 6 is not been used widely anymore , it  has become outdated now rather people are preferring the IE 8 version. Recently Facebook has announced that it wants to end support for  IE 6 , As lot of issues came upfront from the people  regarding the expiration of chat session while using facebook through IE 6 platform. Facebook also revealed that it wants to improve its stability and consistency for better user experience, so it has stopped supporting the outdated IE 6 browser.

About  15 months back the Internet Explorer 8 version was launched and successfully accepted by the people also it has become the worlds number one browser  in the world. It is more consistent  than any other browsers in the market , IE 6  had the weakest security point incompatible for web 2.0 platform.IE 6 is also lacking the key security barriers like prevention of data. It was easily hacked by the hackers and other malwares and spywares available on internet. Microsoft  has recently announced that it will be launching the Internet Explorer 9 beta version into the market  soon , by this facebook stated that it will no longer lack behind in updating the browsers versions so as to stay updated in the market by supporting more and more new browsers and ending support for older version of browsers.
